We are a team of highly qualified occupational health professionals, including physicians, physiotherapists, psychotherapists, advisors, and technicians, who are supported by a dedicated customer service team. Based in Douglas our admin team are on hand to answer any questions, and to ensure a smooth referral and appointment process.
YellOH has acquired the business of Independent Medical Services – a well regarded occupational health service run by Dr Simon McAndry.
Our breadth of experience for has developed from running YellOH Occupational Health based in Lancaster, England. This has enabled us to support organisations across a broad spectrum of sectors, from waste management and public transport, to luxury hotels and local schools.
Our Team
We employ a broad team of health professionals including an Occupational Health Physician, Occupational Health Advisors, Occupational health technicians, OH physiotherapists, psychotherapists and a dedicated administrative support team.

Adrian has been founding and developing businesses for over 30 years, and has an extensive clinical background in physiotherapy, ergonomics, and rehabilitation. Adrian has worked closely with thousands of clients over the years, and firmly believes that ‘prevention is better than cure’.
Adrian’s approach remains one of changing behaviours to ensure people are treated with respect, giving them the resilience and confidence to thrive. He believes ‘education empowers employers and employees to do the right thing’, and is closely involved in all aspects of YellOH, from overseeing the business, to the delivery of clinical interventions.

Elaine has specialised in occupational health for many years, holding senior roles within leading health and wellbeing organisations and national occupational health providers. She has unrivalled experience and knowledge when it comes to understanding the occupational health needs of Yelloh’s varying client base.
Elaine has a First-Class Honours degree in business, and experience in accounting and project management.

Joanne has worked in the occupational health sector for over 12 years. A former forklift truck driver, Joanne has hands-on industry experience, and an extensive understanding of the requirements and processes of a health and safety department.
Joanne’s varied role includes site visits, health assessments and education for both employers and employees. She is trained to spot the early signs of potentially serious health conditions, and is adept at guiding employers on the best course of action to keep their teams safe and well.

Marianne has been specialising in occupational health for many years, having previously worked in the rail industry. During her role as an advisor for British Energy, Marianne was sponsored to undertake the Occupational Health Nursing Diploma before moving across the world to work for Pfizer in New Zealand.
Back home in Morecambe Bay, Marianne is a Senior Occupational Health Advisor and is responsible for undertaking occupational screening and health surveillance in accordance with health and safety legislation. In her spare time, Marianne enjoys walking her Border Collie, Max, and watching her son compete in sports matches across the country.
Ruth has been working with IMS on the IOM since 2019 and understands the business and the needs of the Island.
She is taking the clinical lead for the development of Yelloh and will be working with current and new clients on the island.
